Razionale scientifico

Now in its 11th edition, the AMIT Congress will bring together leading national and international experts to provide an up-to-date overview of the clinical management of infectious and tropical diseases. The scientific program will focus on multidrug resistance (MDR), antimicrobial stewardship, vaccination strategies, and the latest therapeutic advances in HIV and viral, bacterial, and fungal infections. Recent developments in treatment will also be discussed through interactive sessions dedicated to the management of complex clinical cases. Particular attention will be devoted to the One Health approach, highlighting the close interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. This integrated perspective will explore how infectious diseases - including zoonotic and vector-borne infections - as well as antimicrobial resistance emerge, spread, and persist across shared ecosystems.
