Razionale scientifico
Delta Cure è riconosciuto come il principale forum internazionale interamente dedicato al Virus dell'Epatite Delta (HDV). Dal suo inizio, il meeting ha svolto un ruolo centrale nel far avanzare la comprensione collettiva di questa forma particolarmente grave e sfidante di epatite virale. Il programma scientifico 2026 offrirà un'esplorazione completa del virus, spaziando dall'epidemiologia, virologia, immunologia, progressione clinica alle complicanze a lungo termine associate all'infezione cronica. Per la prima volta, gli abstract accettati per l'edizione Delta Cure 2026 saranno pubblicati in un supplemento dedicato della rivista indicizzata BMJ Open Gastroenterology, aumentando la visibilità e l'impatto dei contributi scientifici. Una parte sostanziale del programma sarà dedicata alle presentazioni di abstract orali da parte di ricercatori in fase iniziale di carriera, insieme a poster tour guidati da esperti, per favorire l'integrazione nella comunità scientifica internazionale.
